THE REBIRTH OF DEMOCRACY
At long last, it’s happening. The pendulum is swinging back. We’re no longer hungering for societal, cultural, political truth – we’re starving for it. Corruption layered upon corruption, lie stacked upon lie, it’s been revealed how far the other side has gone, what they stand for, how blind allegiance is baked into how they operate. They’ve clearly told us what they plan on doing if they take over. Far right Zealots put their playbook on the Internet. They have let it be known they plan on destroying Democracy. The complicit media has shown us their true colors. To be clear, there is no both sides do it in this time period. Both sides do it is a false fantasy made up by media executives doing the bidding of a cabal of billionaires. We don’t live in their distorted reality. Every form of media proves it daily – bothsidesism is a manufactured lie. It's time for everyone to do their part. There’s never been a time within our lifetime when speaking up and showing up was this important. Without a fully flowering rebirth of Democracy on every level of society, the coming post-election years will transform the United States and countries across the globe into a world where the dystopian nightmares we’ve watched on TV and movie screens for decades will have come true. Instead of consciously aware human-like apes taking over the world, we’ll have a world run by leaders feeling emboldened to wreak havoc, and continually let loose their worst autocratic, freedom-destroying impulses. Only the sickest ones in our country want more authoritarian death, destruction, and mayhem. What’s already happened in recent years is far too much. In the past several years, far too many rights and freedoms have been stolen. This is where we are. We’re at a turning point in history. This historical moment is on a Hinge of History. Democracy is turning into a movement that’ll ring out in every corner of the land, and that’s what it’s going to take. Democracy is becoming an animated neighborhood conversation and an urgent global message. Sound the alarm bells now. Or the bells will be melted down and poured into a free-flowing river, so as to continue poisoning the land we love. We’re standing up and speaking up, and it is what we must do. Democracy’s voice must be heard in every corner of our country as never before. In the farmlands and high rises. Near the seashore and in the small towns. The future is Democratic, progressive, and inclusive. No one can sit this election out. We only have a matter of weeks to save Democracy, and build a democratic free-thinking future. This historical flashpoint is real, and it’s about preserving democracy, preserving a free and liberal-minded world, and on a gut-check level, it’s about self-preservation.
