It was the best of times, it was the Bratwurst of times. It was the time of vegan juicers and Filet Mignon boozers. It was an age of wise ones being disregarded by insipid fools on TV talk shows. It was an epoch of easily led true believers, brainwashed into thinking authoritarians were going to ride in and save the day. It was the season of lightworkers, and the season of multitudes lost in murky darkness. It was a time of the uplifted and truth-seeking, and it was a time of the delusional and demented. It was the springtime of love, and the winter of wailing and gnashing of teeth. It was a moment of profound awakening, and a time when millions were embroiled in worldwide ongoing senseless wars. It was a reset, a reboot, another chance for humanity to speak up during a hinge of history moment and become a shining light for future generations, and it was power-hungry corrupt ones ignoring every flashing warning sign and willingly flushing all that was good and true about human nature and living a good life on our planet, down the toilet. It was the end of the world we’d known, and as for toenails, they were ingrown and overgrown. It was a time for releasing what prevented us from being heart-centered humans, and rejecting becoming the mindless minions of death-dealing delusional madmen dead-set against love and light. It was the beast of times, it was the least of times. Everything turned inside-out, and then became nothing in a heartbeat. Everything was seen, felt, experienced with expansive minds filled with starlight. It was a time of mass gun violence murder as a weekly occurrence, and justice being a whispered tale of some long-ago sense of truth and balance that had ceased to exist. It was all so close to this timeline, you’d think we were reliving an epoch from some regurgitated dystopian future world of mass confusion. Quite frankly, no one knew what the Dickens was going to happen next.
