I’m pro nouns, and anti-verbs. I’m pro pre-biotics, and not anti-pasta. I’m pro history, and all we can learn from it, and not anti-prehistory, and all it can tell us about the multitudinous life forms that came before humans on this blue ball floating in space. I’m all for this, and done with that. I’m listening to Willie Nelson, and reading Ram Dass. I’m listening to Alan Watts, and journaling before the first light of dawn. I’m listening to Pharaoh Sanders and Alice Coltrane, and I’m reading Henry Miller, Erica Jong, June Jordan, and Amiri Baraka. I’m writing a few novels and my memoir, and not a moment too soon—the 20th Century’s fast fading in the rearview. Open-minded awareness is happening all around the globe, arriving exactly on time—changing the world in an eyeblink doesn’t sound so impossible anymore. Not so strange or out of reach. At long last here we are. So, be a creator and start by creating the life you want. Then wish a better, more peaceful life for all our neighbors on planet Earth. When the whole world is tilting sideways, it’s all right to let the wind hold you up for a while. Get going doing whatever it is you came here to do, as long as you’re listening to your gut and following your heart, and it’s for the betterment of everyone. Having a voice to speak up with is one of the things it’s essential to hold onto. So, what do you say, let’s start the end of the world party, before it’s too late. Before sunsets, sparrows, and ducks duck out. Before the geese blocking traffic find better places to be. Before deer stop eating lunch in city parks. Before the time comes when more of this world’s untrampled beauty and wilderness is gone. Come on over to our place, where we’ll be out back next to the creek running through the backyard. Bring along some farm fresh eggs, home-made beer and ale, and full-bodied just bottled red wine, contraband bread, vegetables from backyard gardens, records on vinyl, mix-tapes on cassettes, armloads of banned books, pictures with hooks, party hats for the dogs, and roller skates for feral cats. My mind is lit up and glowing from the inside-out, and I’m sending the ever-bright light upward, shining out from the top of my head.

Thanks for that Russell, as always. I appreciate the uplifting and encouraging message. I'd like to join that cat roller skate shindig.
Good thing you’re not anti-pasta. I couldn’t live without Italian food.
